In memoriam WDVLtalk

WDVLtalk was the email-based discussion list hosted by the Web Developer's Virtual Library, and it ran for over a decade until it was closed down in early 2009. I was subscribed to it for most of its existence, I learned a great deal from other people on the list, and I have very fond memories of it. It was a real community with some fantastic members and I miss it very much.

There is an archive with some of the messages from the list, but sadly it only covers the period from 2002 onwards.

This URL used to host a rogue's gallery with photos of the regular contributors and links to their websites. I was originally going to delete it entirely after the list was shut down, but decided instead to maintain a page in memory of what was a superb place to hang out and moan about the Internet Explorer box model.

To those who were there, thank you.

RIP WDVLtalk. We will remember you.
